\huge\boxed{\boxed{\underline{\textsf{\textbf{Answer}}}}}

Number of days Adya took to complete the work = 20

Work done by Adya in 1 day = \frac{1}{20}

Number of days Ashley took to complete the work = 25

Work done by Ashley in 1 day = \frac{1}{25}

So,

Total work by Adya & Ashley in 1 day =

\frac{1}{20}  +  \frac{1}{20}  \\  =  \frac{5 + 4}{100}  \\  =  \frac{9}{100}

•°• Their total work in 10 days =

\frac{9 \times 10}{100}  \\  =  \frac{90}{100}  \\  =  \frac{9}{10}

Now,

The work left to be completed =

1 -  \frac{9}{10}  \\  =  \frac{10}{10}  -  \frac{9}{10}  \\  =  \frac{1}{10}

From this we know that,

Amber completes \frac{1}{10} of the work in 3 days.

So,

Time taken by Amber to complete the whole work =

3 \times 10 \\  = 30 \:  \: days

↦ If Amber alone would do the whole work, he would take \boxed{30 \ \ days} to complete it.

A circle is centered at the point (5, -4) and passes through the point (-3, 2).
harina [27]

Answer:

The answer to your question is:

             (x - 5)² + (y + 4)² = 10²     or         (x - 5)² + (y + 4)² = 100

Step-by-step explanation:

Data

Center (5, - 4)

Point ( -3 , 2)

Formula

d = √ ((x2- x1)² + (y2 - y1)²)

(x - h)² + (y - k)² = r²

Process

Radius

d = √ ((-3 - 5)² + (2 + 4)²)

d = √ ((-8)² + (6)²)

d = √ 64 + 36

d = √100

d = 10 units

Circle

                           (x - 5)² + (y + 4)² = 10²

                             (x - 5)² + (y + 4)² = 100

Gere has 3 times as many shirts with print patterns as he does shirts in solid colors. He has a total of 16 shirts. How many shi
Tcecarenko [31]

Answer:

He has 12 print patterns shirt

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, we are interested in calculating the number of print colored shirts owned by Gere.

From the question, we are told that he has 3 times shirts with print colors as shirts with solid colors.

This means that if the number of solid colored shirt he has is x, then he has 3x print shirts

The addition of both is 16;

hence;

x + 3x = 16

4x = 16

x = 16/4

x = 4

Since number of print shirts = 3x; this means there are 3 * 4 = 12 print shy
