In Elie Wiesel’s Night, what best describes the narrator’s greatest fear once the SS guard separates he and his father from his

I would say isolation because Elie and his father are separated from his mother and 2 sisters so that he and his father go to the forced labour camp and his mother and sisters go to the gas chambers though the mother and one sister survive he does not see them again, at least not there. And seeing his father become helpless so that he must become his father's caregiver makes him resentful and then ashamed of his resentment.

Read the passage.
My name is Ann [436]

People have been using the milk that cows produce for hundreds of years. For generations, people milked cows by hand. Generally, they could milk six cows per hour. However, once machines came along, they changed the dairy industry. Some people think milking by machine seems mean or cold. But today’s milking process is superior.

During the revision process, the writer will most likely improve the argument by adding which sentence at the end?

A. Refrigeration started in 1880, making milk more available.

<u>B. Today's farm machines can milk more than 100 cows an hour. </u>

C. The majority of farms today are still owned and run by families.

D. "We've had a dairy cow for years," local farmer Pat Cooper said.

Which Victorian social code is reflected in Miss Prism’s words and actions?
mojhsa [17]
Miss prism's words an actions shows that she shows importance of social rules. Her recoiling from Jack and stating that she is unmarried is an expression that she cannot be embraced by the opposite sex so carelessly. Moreover, since she is unmarried, it would be impossible that miss Prism was his mother. Victorian social code frowns upon having children when they are not married yet.

The answer is A.
