it’s recommended because you can catch errors that you might not have caught if you had just read it in your head. you can also discern whether the flow of whatever you’re writing is good, or if it’s choppy and hard to understand.
it means treat others as you wish to be treated. that is the main rule of the Torah according to Shabbat. everything else just further states that one rule and adds onto it
