Answer:

Animals takes oxygen inside their body from the environment in order to survive..

Explanation:

Animals takes oxygen inside their body from the environment and exchange of gases occurs in the organ such lungs where the cells loaded itself with oxygen and removed the carbondioxide from the cell. When the organism exhaled carbondioxide gas is released in the environment. Food is broken down in the digestive tract and nutrients is absorbed from small intestine which adds these nutrients into blood that is used by the cells. Kidney filters the blood and removes the nitrogenous waste and excess amount of water from the blood. This urine is removed with the excretory system of the body.

The diffusion of water through a semipermeable membrane is an example of _________ and __________. osmosis; passive transport os
lana66690 [7]

Answer:

osmosis; passive transport

Step-by-step explanation:

The definition of osmosis is exactly: the diffusion of water through a semipermeable membrane.

Osmosis is when water diffuses, or goes from a high to lower concentration through a semipermeable membrane (such as the cell membrane).

Therefore the first blank is "osmosis". Osmosis is one of the types of passive transport because it does not require ATP to get transported. Transport requiring ATP would be called active transport.

The second blank is passive transport because water can easily pass through a semipermeable membrane without the help of ATP molecules.

To help explain surface tension, use a single water molecule in the template, and draw arrows representing the possible location
kramer

Answer:

The correct representation is attached with the explanation.

Explanation:

In this representation of the surface tension, blue arrows between green water molecules are the possible molecules that can be used as the location for forming hydrogen bonds by a single molecule. Surface tension is the tendency of a liquid surface strectch to neighbouring molecules or ability to shrink in minimum surface area possible. Hydrogen bonds is an intermolecular force or interaction responsible for the surface are of liquide molecules. This bonds is towards every direction where the similar molecule present.
