Which statement is an example of a debater using an opponent’s ideas in his or her own argument? Animals deserve moral and legal

rights because animals support and comfort humans in times of need. Animals do not deserve moral and legal rights because they are incapable of rational thought and because they act on instinct, which makes them dangerous. While ancient philosophers claimed that animals are not capable of judgment, more recent work from primatologists at Emory University has revealed that chimpanzees show physiological and mental capacities. Philosophers have built the foundation of modern-day thought on the subject of animals and their lack of any sense of morality. Since animals are unable to behave morally, they do not deserve moral or legal rights.

Answer:

Explanation:

In the 20s the USA was considered isolationist, America for the Americans so when a influx of immigrants came in they faced harsh feelings from the born and bred Americans.

This can be confused with racism, if what happened in the 20s happened now it would be but there is a difference between not wanting someone in your country based on race and not wanting someone in your country based on the times ideals. We need to stop judging people from over a century ago like we would today, it was a different time, different ideals and different motives. I am not discounting the presents of racism obviously but pointing out the cultural influences at the time.

that was for free lol

Under the Privacy Rule, the patient has the right to request communication byalternative means.
These alternative means refer to oral, written, or electronic types of communication. So, the patient doesn't have to use just a single type of communication (usually the spoken form), but can rather rely on technology and paper as well.

Answer:

The Middle Colonies were more diverse than colonies in New England and the South. Most of the early settlers depended on the fur trade and on farming for economic survival. The most populous of the Middle colonies was Pennsylvania, other colonies were settled rather haphazardly over the course of the 17th century. Settlers usually organized themselves in small farms spread throughout the colony with a few cities added to the mix.

  • The Middle Colonies were not as cohesive as the New England colonies because colonists in this region were not united by single religion or code of beliefs.
  • Area dominated by larger farms than N.E., smaller than the S.; still there is an emphasis on subsistence rather than cash crops. Settlement patterns generally revolve around single family farms (around 50 -150 acres).  Again you see the predominance of servant (as opposed to slave labor) in the 17th century.  [A notable exception is in New York where you see a large number of African Americans in the colony, especially in New York city where blacks are employed in commercial settings and as dockworkers.]
  • The Middle Colonies were settled by different nationalities so there is greater emphasis on religious toleration and cultural diversity. This is especially true in the colony of New York.

I hope it helps.
