I'm going to say yes and no because alot of mask have different textures and material with some of the mask being thin material and some being think it really depends on the type of mask because with a really thin mask that doesn't have support u can still spread germs because even if you may be 5-6 feet apart germs spread about to 500 feet radius i do believe so it once again it depends on the mask
