4.

3 + v < -5

Isolate v by subtracting 3 to both sides

(3-3) + v < -5 - 3

v < -8

For the line graph the pic is below (circle is open because it is not an "equal to value" and doesn't include -8 in the answer. It goes to the left because v is anything less then -8)

5.

7 + x ≤ 10

Isolate x by subtracting 7 to both sides

(7 -7)+ x ≤ (10 - 7)

x ≤ 3

For the line graph the pic is below (circle is closed because it is an "equal to value" and does include 3 in the answer. It goes to the left because x is anything less then or equal to 3)

6.

s - 4 < -10

Isolate s by adding 4 to both sides

s + (-4 + 4) < -10 + 4

s < -6

For the line graph the pic is below (circle is open because it is not an "equal to value" and doesn't include -6 in the answer. It goes to the left because s is anything less - 6)

The other person already did #7 so one to 8--->

8.

7 + n > - 2

Isolate n by subtracting 7 to both sides

(7-7) + n > - 2 - 7

n > - 9

For the line graph the pic is below (circle is open because it is not an "equal to value" and doesn't include -9 in the answer. It goes to the right because n is anything greater than -9)

last one I'll do 9.

r + 6 ≥ -1

Isolate r by subtracting 6 to both sides

r + (6-6) ≥ -1 - 6

r ≥ - 7

For the line graph the pic is below (circle is closed because it is an "equal to value" and does include -7 in the answer. It goes to the right because r is anything greater than or equal to -7)

Hope this helped! And good night! I will be logging off for the day!

Find m.
A) 3.4
B) 5.2
C) 7.5
garik1379 [7]

Answer:

In triangle EFG,

EG = 4.8 units

Since angle FDE = angle FED,

EF = FD = 3.5 units [sides opposite to equal angles]

FG = DE = 3 units [Given]

s = (a+b+c)/2

= (EG+EF+GF)/2

= (4.8+3.5+3)/2

= 11.3/2

now using Heron's formula,

area of EFG =

What is the algebraic expression that can represent the area of a rectangle if the length on one side is 3 and the other is W
Jlenok [28]
The area of a rectangle can be found by the length times the width (l x w). The algebraic expression of this would be (3w) or (3 * w)

Identify which of the sequences below is a geometric sequence.
Alexxx [7]

Answer:

The right answer is d. 3, 6, 12, 24, 48

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the right answer, we need to know that for a sequence to be a geometric sequence; each term has to be multiple of the previous term, and it has to be the same multiple for all terms.

we're going to check all the answer to seek the right answer.

Checking a. 1, 3, 5, 7, 9.

Three is three times 1, but 5 isn't multiple of 3, with this we can see a isn't the right answer.

Checking b. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10,

Four is twice 2, but 6 isn't multiple of 4, with this, we can see b isn't the right answer

Checking c. 2, 5, 7, 10, 12,

Five isn't multiple of 2 so, c isn't the right answer.

Checking d. 3, 6, 12, 24, 48,

Six is twice three; twelve is twice six, twenty-four is twice twelve, and

forty-eight is twice twenty-four.

we can see that in d all the terms are multiples and twice the previous term, so this is the right answer.
