So, the angle on the inside of the top of the triangle is 60 degrees because vertical angles are congruent. Now the angle across from the 130 degree angle is 130 degrees, and we know that the outer and inner angles are supplementary, (add up to 180 degrees) so the angle on the inside is 50 degrees. Then, all angles of a triangle equal 180 degrees therefore, 180-(60+50)= the final angle. Now 70 degrees is the last angle and this angle is vertical to angle 1 which means that angle 1 equals 70 degrees.
