1. The original question is wrong because you cannot give something to "she". One good rule of thumb is to remove the other clause, and see if the target word workss, like "I wanted to give the tickets to she."

From here, you can see that this is wrong, and you can replace it with "her."

2. You can do the same thing here, by doing this: "Could you go to the store for me?"

As you can see, this works and therefore is correct.
