The average is the total number of miles run dived by the number of days.

The total number of miles is the difference of the last reading ( 11,477) less the initial reading (10,150) = 11,477 - 10,150 = 1,327 miles.

The number of days is 7.

The the average is:

average = number of miles run / number of days = 1,327 miles / 7 days = 189,6 miles / day.

Answer: 189,6 miles / day.

Heath needs to end up with 10L of solution,

of which 9L is bleach. So let m = liters of 20%

solution needed. Then .20m liters of that are bleach.

He must then add p liters of bleach to make

a total of 10 L. That is, p + m = 10. So the system is

m + p = 10, .20m + p = 9. Solving,

m = 1.25 L 20% solution, and thus p = 8.75 L bleach.

The measure of angle D in the inscribed triangle is as follows;

∠D = 63 degrees

How to solve circle theorem?

The circle theorem can be use to find the ∠D as follows;

The triangle BCD is inscribed in the circle.

Using circle theorem,

The angle of each triangle is double the angle of the arc it create.

Therefore,

arc BC = m∠D

m∠B = 134 / 2 = 67 degrees.

Therefore, using sum of angles in a triangle.

67 + 50 + m∠D = 180

m∠D = 180 - 50 - 67

m∠D = 63 degrees.
