So it was pretty unusual to have a lone silverback gorilla visiting the research camp. And he wasn't a very polite guest, either

! He would knock down banana trees, throw bamboo, and pound his chest with his fists. These displays looked fearsome, but violence probably wasn't his plan. Ebobo, as they called him, was an adult male with no family group to care for. He needed a family and was searching for females. Ebobo was probably bored and lonely. He was looking for some company. The gorilla would come about once a month, and that frightened some of the camp workers. They begged Fay to let them kill the gorille. They thought Ebobo was dangerous and a threat. Fay told them not to harm Ebobo, that he wouidn't hurt them.
Why did Ebobo visit the research camp?

A.he was looking for a female companion.

B.he was looking for food to eat.

C.he wanted to be around people.
