/How does the author of "Klondike Gold Rush" uses their point of view to shape the reader's understanding of the miner's lives?
scZoUnD [109]

Answer:

The Author of "Klondike Gold Rush' uses third person omniscient to give the readers an idea and understanding of what happened during the gold rush and also the challenges faced by the miners.

Explanation:

The point of view of the Author is that most miners labored hard and gained little, the miners got outsmarted by the merchants and the profiteers. The Miners hoped to get rich quick but they instead got poor. They were paid very little for their hard labor, This tells the readers the dangerous things they faced just to find disappointment.

The Author of the book used word like "horrendous" and also "perilous journey' to show the difficulties the miners faced. This book shows the challenges that the miners had to go through to seek "false riches".

B) why is vivid imagery particularly important in a compressed form such as poetry? (5 points)
riadik2000 [5.3K]

Imagery is especially important in poetry because of its compressed form. This means that poems tend to be short (compressed), unlike prose, which is written using sentences. Since poems are so short by nature, poets try to use as few words as possible to describe their thoughts and feelings.

This is where imagery comes into play - imagery refers to the use of very few, and very descriptive words to convey an idea. Instead of using lengthy sentences to describe something, this could be done in poetry using just a few vivid words which clearly paint a picture in our mind. This is done to shorten the length of a poem, while also keeping all relevant information.
