In triangle WXV and SRT,

If both triangles are similar than their ratio of corresponding sides are equal.

⟹\frac{XY}{XW} = \frac{US}{SR}

⟹\frac{27}{3x-21} = \frac{24}{x+13}

⟹(27)(x+13) = (24) (3x-21)

⟹27x +351 = 72x - 504

⟹27(x+13) = 9(8x-56)

⟹3x+39 = 8x-56

⟹8x-3x = 39+56

⟹5x = 95

<h2>⟹x=19</h2>

In triangle DFE and IHJ,

If both triangles are similar than their ratio of corresponding sides are equal.

⟹\frac{GF}{EF} = \frac{IK}{HI}

⟹\frac{9}{x+8} = \frac{14}{3x-2}

⟹(9)(3x-2) = (14)(x+8)

⟹27x-18=14x+112

⟹27x-14x=112+18

⟹13x=130

⟹x =\frac{130}{13}

<h2>⟹x=10</h2>

⟹EF = x+8

⟹EF =10+8

<h3>⟹EF=18</h3>

step 1. let's call the amount of money A, the initial amount P, the yearly rate r, the number of compounds per year n.

step 2. A = P(1 + r/n)^(nt)

step 3. A = 1600(1 + .03/12)^((12)(5)

step 4. A = 1600(1.0025)^(60)

Your having lunch at Taco Bell. You have your choice of a taco,burrito or Mexican pizza. You can choose between rice and beans.
tino4ka555 [31]

Let T be the taco, B the burrito, MP the mexican pizza, R the rice, and N the beans.

For the main course we can have the first three.

----- T

------ B

-------MP

Each main course comes with the two sides. So an R branch and a B branch go to each of the taco, burrito, or pizza.

-----T---------R or N.

We expand it to

--------T-----------R

---------------------N

And we repeat it for the rest.

Thus, the tree diagram is

----- T --------R

-----------------N

-----B---------R

-----------------N

----MP--------R

----------------N
