The question is incomplete. The complete question is :

The National Coffee Association reported that 62% of U.S. adults drink coffee daily. A random sample of 225 U.S. adults is selected. Round your answers to at least four decimal places as needed.

Required:

a. Find the mean μ.

b. Find the standard deviation σ.

c. The standard deviation σ.

Solution :

a). Percentage of the US adults who drinks coffee daily = 62%

Therefore, the mean, μ = 0.62

b). We know, p = μ = 0.62

And n = 225

Therefore, the standard deviation is given by :

$\sigma=\sqrt{\frac{p\times (1-p)}{n}}$

 $=\sqrt{\frac{0.62\times (1-0.62)}{225}}$

 $=\sqrt{\frac{0.62\times 0.38}{225}}$

 $=0.0324$

c). Standard deviation, σ = 0.0324

Calculating area of rectangle
PSYCHO15rus [73]

Answer:

Area = 216.108cm^2 --- You

Area = 216.940cm^2 --- Another student

Reason: Because there is a variation in the given dimensions

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Your measurement

Length = 20.70cm; Width =10.44cm

Another students'

Length = 20.74cm; Width =10.46cm

Solving (a): The area

Area is calculated as:

Area = Length * Width

For you

Area = 20.70cm * 10.44cm

Area = 216.108cm^2

For the other student

Area = 20.74cm * 10.46cm

Area = 216.940cm^2

Solving (b): Reason for the variation in the areas

The given measurements are estimates of the dimensions of the rectangle.

Since there is a variation in the estimates, there will be some level of variation in the calculated area.

Answer:

20x^2−2x−6

Step-by-step explanation:

(4x+2)(5x+−3)

=(4x)(5x)+(4x)(−3)+(2)(5x)+(2)(−3)

=20x2−12x+10x−6

What is the gross earnings for a person who has $26,480 in total sales,
zhuklara [117]

Answer:

$3103.6

Step-by-step explanation:

Given data

Total sales= $26,480

Returns and Allowances=$1250

Commission = 7%

Let us find the amount in commission earned

=7/100*26,480

=0.07*26480

=$1853.6

Hence the gross earnings

=1853.6+1250

=$3103.6
