Every hour is 15$, thus you can do x for hours, and the function would be 15x

Alright, so in the table, x is the input, or the hours worked. The pay, or the output, is our y value.

This shows for every 2 hours worked, we get 15 dollars.

Let's write it out

2x=y

y=15

x=1 hour

The x is hours and the y is dollars.

A function rule is written as a ratio.

So we will compare hours to minutes.

Our function is 2:15

Answer: 2:15

Solve 8(m - 5 ) = 48
Art [367]

Answer

1)8(m -5 ) = 48 \\ 8m - 40 = 48 \\ 8m = 48 + 40 \\ 8m = 88 \\  \frac{8m}{8}  =  \frac{88}{8}  \\ m = 11

2)x + 7 = 13 \\ x = 13 - 7 \\ x = 6

3)3h - 5 = 12 \\ 3h = 12 + 5 \\ 3h = 17 \\  \frac{3h}{3}  =  \frac{17}{3}  \\ h = 5 \frac{2}{3}

Hope this helps you.

Given that cos 63°≈ 0.454, enter the sine of a complementary angle.<br> sin
jek_recluse [69]

Answer:

\cos(63^\circ) is the same as \sin(27^\circ) by co-function identities

Step-by-step explanation:

Remember that complementary angles add up to 90°. The angle that i s complementary to 63° is 27°.

Also recall the co-function identities:

  • sin (90° – x) = cos x
  • cos (90° – x) = sin x

This means that \cos(90^\circ-27^\circ)=\sin(27^\circ)\approx0.454.

ALGEBRA 2 PROBLEM! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME! I’VE BEEN TRYING TO FIGURE THIS OUT FOR THE LONGEST TIME, BUT CAN’T!
Lisa [10]

Answer:

E

Step-by-step explanation:

The problem says that triangle BDC lies in the plane k, which means that whatever angle is formed by another point beyond this plane with any of the three segments that form BDC (BD, DC, and BC) is the same as the angle formed by the line connecting the point and the plane.

Here, we're given that AD⊥DC, which means AD forms a 90° angle with DC. Then, since DC is already on the plane, we already know for sure that AD is definitely perpendicular to plane k.

Thus, the answer is E (none of these).
