The theme is to pursue your dreams regardless of the challenges.

Explanation:

This theme is shown in the first stanza when the poet writes "the right to make my dreams come true....I demand of life." It is also shown in the second stanza when the poet says "too long my heart against the ground....and now at length, I rise, I wake!"
