•To make sure that Polyphemus must know about Odyssey and who ruined him, odyssey boasts about himself and tell about how he tricked him. Therefore, this leads Polyphemus to curse Odyssey and this curse leads to the death of his crewmen and makes his voyage to home difficult.
3. The archetype refers to the kind of person who is above all and often leads everyone. Odyssey is an archetype as during the Trojan war he obtained the title of ‘hero’ in other terms possessing god-like powers or traits. Though he was self-centered and often boasted about himself, he took charge of his men and lead his crew through his cunning and wit.
