Identify the methods used to compensate for the scarcity of resources in the ancient world.
MrRissso [65]

The correct answer is B) Humans developed multiple uses for their resources.

Identify the methods used to compensate for the scarcity of resources in the ancient world.

The resources were used differently in the Neolithic Era in that humans developed multiple uses for their resources.

During the Neolithic Revolution or Agriculture Revolution, humans learned to grow crops and developed agriculture techniques that allow them to settle in one place. That was the case of the Sumerians that established between the Tigres and Euphrates Rivers or the Egyptians that settled in next to the Nile River. They knew that resources were scarce and tried to take care of them developing multiple uses for their resources. They also started to domesticate animals.

How many miles was the trade route between the Portuguese trading post on the Cape Verde Islands and the Cape of Good Hope?
Aleksandr [31]

Answer:    On 7 November they landed at St Helena Bay, 200km (125 miles) north of the Cape of Good Hope. They had been out of sight of land for 13 weeks - much longer than Columbus on his trans-Atlantic voyage - and had traveled a distance of more than 7,200km (4,500 miles) from Cape Verde.

What effect did the battle have on the battle of the bulge in europe?
soldier1979 [14.2K]
The Battle of the Bulge weakened the Germans, mostly armored divisions and aircraft, (last high scale offensive on western front). Bad timing on Herr Hitler's part, as reinforcements could not arrive due to snow. And Allied forces wouldn't give up. When asked to surrender, the American general McAuliffe replied, "Us surrender? Aw, nuts!" and wrote to the Germans, "To the German commander: Nuts!" (surprisingly, Germans didn't know what that meant)
