The quickest way to find the factors of a number is to divide it by the smallest prime number( bigger than 1) that goes into it evenly with no reminder. Continue this process with each number you get, UNTIL YOUR REACH 1. I hope it helps :) Let me know

Answer:

Factors are numbers you can multiply to get each number. For example, for 30 you would have factors of 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 10, 15, and 30.  I got that because 1 x 30 = 30, 2 x 15=30, 3 x 10 = 30, and 5 x 6= 30.  If the factors are just 1 and that number it is prime.  If there are other factors, it is composite.  30 would be composite.

Suppose the side lengths are multiplied by 2. Describe the change in the perimeter
max2010maxim [7]

Answer:

The perimeter would also be multiplied by 2.

Step-by-step explanation:

The perimeter would also be multiplied by 2. Suppose the sides of a triangle are 5, 10 and 13. The perimeter would be the sum of the side lengths or 5 + 10 + 13 = 28 ft.

Multiply each side length so 5*2 = 10, 10*2 = 20 and 13*2 = 26. Find the perimeter by finding their sum, 10 + 20 + 26 = 56.

Divide the new perimeter by the old perimeter to find a scale factor.

56/28 = 2.

The new perimeter is exactly 2 times bigger since 2*28 = 56.

What is 79.34 to one decimal point
IceJOKER [234]
I’m assuming you mean to round to the nearest tenth? If so, it’s 79.3. If that’s not what you’re asking i don’t know what else you mean

Suppose we want to build a rectangular storage container with open top whose volume is $$12 cubic meters. Assume that the cost o
Snezhnost [94]

Answer:265.25

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Volume of box=12 m^3

height is 3 times the width

let height, length and breadth be H, L & B

H=3\times B

V=12=L\times B\times H

4=B^2\times L[/tex]

L=\frac{4}{B^2}

Cost of side walls $ 8/m^2

Cost of base $ 12/m^2

Cost of side walls=(2LH+2BH)\cdot 8

Cost of base =12LB

Total cost C=16LH+16BH+12LB

C=48LB+48B^2+12LB

C=\frac{192}{B}+48B^2+\frac{48}{B}

differentiate C w.r.t B to get minimum cost

\frac{\mathrm{d} C}{\mathrm{d} B}=-\frac{192}{B^2}+2\times 48 B-\frac{48}{B^2}

B^3=\frac{240}{2\times 48}

B=1.35 m

H=3\times 1.35=4.07 m

L=2.19 m

C=$ 265.25
