linear velocity, v = ?

\omega = \dfrac{2\pi}{60}\times 1200

\omega =125.66\ rad/s

using linear velocity formula

v = r ω

v = 1.15 x 125.66

v = 144.51 m/s

Hence, the linear speed of the tip is equal to 144.51 m/s.
