1/2 page on why knowing the steps for rescue breathing and choking are important.
mylen [45]
Rescue breathing and the Heimlich are important because they are skills you need to know in order to save a life. Imagine you are in a small village where you and about 5 other people are shopping. Someone is eating a grape and starts choking on one. Nobody else knows the Heimlich but you. You start to perform the Heimlich and you manage to get the grape out. You just saved someone's life. An example of rescue breathing is when you are in a mall. say a small part of it looking for a loaf of bread. Somone starts having a heart attack... they go into cardiac arrest and there are no paramedics around. you perform CPR with 2 rescue breaths and save the person's life. These are some examples to show you why rescue breathing and the Heimlich are important

Which of the following is NOT a function of the female reproductive system?
vagabundo [1.1K]

Answer:

The option A, releasing fimbria to for fertilization is not a function of the female reproductive system.

Explanation:

The fimbria are not released during fertilization. The fimbria are small projections evolving from the fallopian tubes which are present very close to the ovaries. The fimbria assist the egg for moving from the ovaries to the uterus. The fimbria are used for fertilization but they are not released during fertilization.

Fimbria play an active role during ovulation also.

Hence, option A is not correct.

What does it mean when sperm can't penetrate the eggs
Eva8 [605]
Normally a sperm can easily penetrate the egg, but if another sperm has already entered, or the sperm and/or egg is defective. Ignore the other answer because it merely restates your question. So a sperm can always penetrate an egg unless it is too late or either it or the egg is defected.
Hope this helps!
