Liquid: no definite shape since it takes the shape of the container, definite/fixed volume since the particles are held close together but not as much as a solid
Solid: definite volume and shape
Gas: neither a definite volume or shape
Plasma: no fixed shape or volume, less dense than solid or liquids

Climax: The part of the plot that is the point of greatest tension in a work of literature and the turning point in the action or plot; it is the most intense moment – either mentally or in action. In a plot line, the climax occurs after the rising action and before the falling action.
