Answer:

D is incorrect

Step-by-step explanation:

If you know the measure of two angles of a right triangle and you only one length of a right triangle then you will be able to ONLY find the length of the third angle of a right triangle and not the other two sides.

Write the standard form of the line that contains a y-intercept of -3 and passes through the point (3, 0). Include your work in
mina [271]
We have two points, (3,0) and (0,-3).  So we can find the slope of the line:

m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

m=(-3-0)/(0-3)

m=-3/-3

m=1  so far for the line y=mx+b we have:

y=x+b, b is the y intercept which we were told is -3 so

y=x-3

The above is called the slope-intercept form of a line, y=mx+b, the standard form of a line is ax+by=c, so we need to get both variables on one side of the equation..

y=x-3  subtract x from both sides

-x+y=-3

While the above may be acceptable to some, technically the coefficient of x should be expressed as a positive value, so we should divide the above "solution" by -1 to get:

x-y=3

Find each absolute value<br><br>| 4+2i |<br><br>| 5-i |<br><br>| -3i |
galina1969 [7]

How to get answer for number 1: | 4+2i |

\left|a+bi\right|\:=\sqrt{\left(a+bi\right)\left(a-bi\right)}=\sqrt{a^2+b^2}\\\mathrm{With\:}a=4,\:b=2\\=\sqrt{4^2+2^2}\\Refine\\=\sqrt{20}\\\sqrt{20}=2\sqrt{5}\\=2\sqrt{5}

How to get answer for number 2: | 5-i |

\left|a+bi\right|\:=\sqrt{\left(a+bi\right)\left(a-bi\right)}=\sqrt{a^2+b^2}\\\mathrm{With\:}a=5,\:b=-1\\=\sqrt{5^2+\left(-1\right)^2}\\=\sqrt{26}

Number 3 how to get answer: | -3i |

\left|a+bi\right|\:=\sqrt{\left(a+bi\right)\left(a-bi\right)}=\sqrt{a^2+b^2}\\\mathrm{With\:}a=0,\:b=-3\\=\sqrt{0^2+\left(-3\right)^2}\\Refine\\=\sqrt{9}\\\sqrt{9}\\\mathrm{Factor\:the\:number:\:}\:9=3^2\\=\sqrt{3^2}\\\mathrm{Apply\:radical\:rule}:\quad \sqrt[n]{a^n}=a\\\sqrt{3^2}=3\\= 3

2. Lawn tickets cost $30 each and seat tickets cost $50
Andreas93 [3]
Okay so.
If lawn tickets are $30 and seat tickets are $50 and they sold 200 seat tickets.
50 multiplied by 200 is = $ 10,000
And the goal is $14,000.
So $14,000 subtract $10,000 is $4000
$4000 is how much they made in Lawn Tickets. In order to calculate how much lawn tickets were sold, is dividing $4000 by $30 since lawn tickets are $30.
4000 divided by $30 = 133
Not sure if this is correct but all the working and steps are correct! Hope this helps.

Makovka662 [10]

Answer:

geometric sequence

Step-by-step explanation:

A geometric sequence is a sequence of numbers that is ordered with a specific pattern. Each successive number is the product of the previous number and a constant. The constant is the same for every term in the sequence and is called the common ratio.
