Area of the given shape = Area( Triangle + Square + Rectangle)

Area of Triangle = 1/2 x base x height

= 1/2 x (7-2) x (9-5)

= 1/2 x 5 x 4

= 10

Area of square = side × side

= (7-2) x ( 9-4)

= 5 x 5

= 25

Area of rectangle= base x height

= 2 x 5

= 10

Therefore , the area of given shape = 10+25+10 = 45
