What good intentions might the government officials have had in implementing the policy of Americanization?
ehidna [41]

Hello. Here's your answer.

"The Commission supports effective Americanization of new immigrants, that is the cultivation of a shared commitment to the American values of liberty, democracy, and equal opportunity. The United States is one of the most successful multiethnic nations in history. It has united immigrants and their descendants from all over the world around a commitment to democratic ideals and constitutional principles. Those ideals and principles have been embraced by persons from an extraordinary variety of religious and ethnic backgrounds, partly because they permit and protect religious and cultural diversity within a framework of national political unity."

Hope this helped!

Explain why the Germans were not happy with the War guilt clause of the Treaty of Versailles.
natima [27]
The Germans were also furious about the various terms of the Treaty. They hated clause 231 – the ‘War Guilt’ clause – which stated that Germany had caused ‘all the loss and damage’ of the war. Firstly, the Germans did not think that they had caused the war (for the Germans, the war was a war of self-defence against Russia, which had mobilised 31 July 1914). During the 1920s, the Germans published all their secret documents from 1914, to prove they had tried to stop the war. Secondly, the Germans hated clause 231 because accepting it gave the Allies the moral right to punish Germany – it validated all the harsh terms of the Treaty.

What were some problems the south had early in the civil war
MrRa [10]

Answer:

The South had the problem of having an agricultural economy. It's difficult to win a battle when all you grow is cotton, tobacco, and rice. The South, for example, had almost no industrialization, and found it hard to produce weapons or uniforms.
