Answer:

Nomadic people (or nomads) are people who move from one place to another, instead of living in one place. The best known examples in Europe are gypsies, Roma, Sinti, and Irish travelers. ... Most nomads are family men herding their livestock, such as cattle, or horses from pasture to pasture.

mixas84 [53]

Answer:

President Teddy Roosevelt's Square Deal was based on providing a "fair" society in which all citizens could benefit. Within this Square Deal, he focused on protecting the consumer and controlling corporations.

One action he took to protect the consumers was passing the Meat Inspection Act. After the book The Jungle was produced, Roosevelt became aware of the unsanitary working conditions of the meat packing industry. These unsanitary methods resulted in rotten food that made thousands of Americans sick. The law passed by Roosevelt resulted in federal regulation of the meat packing industry.

Another action taken by Roosevelt was taking different corporations to court in order to break up trusts. During the course of his presidency, Roosevelt took on thirty different companies that, in his mind, were acting like monopolies by manipulating a certain part of the market

lbvjy [14]

During the late 1800s in Poland and Russia, anti-Semitism took the form of violent attacks called Pogrom.

These attacks forced many Jews to flee to western Europe. Nonetheless, some Jews continued to survive in eastern Europe in small villages called  Shtetlekh.

Pogrom is a Russian word which means to wreak havoc or to demolish violently. Historically, the term refers to violent attacks by local non-Jewish populations on Jews in the Russian Empire and in other countries.

Shtetlekh were small towns with large Jewish populations, which existed in Central and Eastern Europe before the Holocaust.
