Answer:

The number is  (S \ u \  C  ) = 649

Step-by-step explanation:

From the question we are told that

      The sample size is  n =  800

       The number of seniors is  S  =  519

         The number of  commuters is  C =  430

         The number of of seniors that are commuters is  (S\ n \ C )= 300

Generally the number of 800 surveyed students who were seniors or were commuters is  mathematically evaluated as

     (S \ u \  C  ) =  S + C  -  ( S \  n  \  C )

=>   (S \ u \  C  ) =  519  + 430   - 300

=>   (S \ u \  C  ) = 649

Find the measures of each angle in the triangle.
Rufina [12.5K]
We use 2 different rules here:

1) sum of angles in a triangle is equal to 180 degrees

2) when a triangle side is a diameter of the circle, then angle opposite to diameter is equal to 90 degrees.

so from 2) we know that B= 90

then from first one:

sum of angles = 180 = 90 + (3x + 6) + x = 96 + 4x

so 180 - 96 = 4x
so x = 84/4
x = 21

so answer is
A= 3x+ 6 = 63 + 6 = 69
B = 90
C = 21

A Right prism has a square base with An area of 12 square meters. The volume of the prism Is 84 cubic meters. Determine and stat
pav-90 [236]

Answer: The height of the right prism is 7 meters.

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi, to answer this question we have to apply the next formula:

Volume of a Right prism= base area x height

Replacing with the values given:

84 = 12 x h

Solving for h (height)

84/12 =h

h = 7 m

In conclusion, the height of the right prism is 7 meters.
