the many walls that eastern european companies faced were that of lack of employment as many nations faced population decline as well as a lack of open markets. this is because the soviet union was centered more central than open. lastly many eastern nations lack the modernized industries that most of europe has and because of that, they cant produce at the amount of the rest of europe.
