Given:

Selling price of a fan = Rs.4700

Loss percent = 6%

To find:

The price at which he must sell it to gain 6 percentage.

Solution:

Let x be the cost price of the fan.

Loss percent = 6%

Selling price = Cost price - 6% of cost price

S.P.=x-\dfrac{6}{100}x

S.P.=x-0.06x

S.P.=0.94x

Selling price of a fan = Rs.4700

4700=0.94x

\dfrac{4700}{0.94}=x

5000=x

So, the cost price of the fan is Rs.5000.

Now, he need to sell this fan in 6% gain.

Selling price = Cost price + 6% of cost price

S.P.=5000+\dfrac{6}{100}\times 5000

S.P.=5000+300

S.P.=5300

Therefore, he must sell it for Rs.5300 to gain 6 percentage.

Mr. Nelson is checking some of the school's sport balls to make sure they are in good shape and properly inflated. Use the table
Tpy6a [65]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Hello!

Be X: air pressures of properly inflated sports balls.

Average recommended psi Tolerance(pounds per square inch)

Soccer ball 12.05 ±3.55

Basketball 8.00 ±0.5

Volleyball 4.44 ±0.18

Each recommendation is expressed like the "average air pressure" ± "standard deviation of the recommended air pressure" so if you express it in inequality it will be:

X[bar]-S ≤ X ≤ X[bar]+S

So for each ball type, you can write it as:

Soccer ball

12.05-3.55 ≤ X ≤ 12.05+3.55

8.5 ≤ X ≤ 15.6

Basketball

8.00-0.5 ≤ X ≤ 8.00+0.5

7.5 ≤ X ≤ 8.5

Volleyball

4.44-0.18 ≤ X ≤ 4.44+0.18

4.26 ≤ X ≤ 4.62

I hope this helps!

Please help, need this ASAP: A line passes through the points (-3,-5) and (6,1). The equation of this line can be written in the
Murrr4er [49]

The slope of the line is (6 - (-3))/(1 - (-5)) = 9/6 = 3/2, so by point slope form, the equation of the line is (y + 5) = 3/2(x + 3). Then 2y + 10 = 3x + 9, so 3x - 2y = 1. A + B + C = 3 + (-2) + 1 = 2.
