so sorry if this is actually wrong but it made sense to me

lets look at what they're asking.

points A and B have to be on a line together, both sides going on forever. we see this on the 2nd one, the 3rd one, and the 4th one, so we can forget about the 1st one.

points A and C also have to be on a line together, one side (point A) NOT going on forever and the other (point C) going on forever. we can kind of see this in the 2nd option, but its mainly in the 3rd option (if you scratch off the end of the horizontal line for a better view of it), so we can forget about the 4th one.

points B and D have the same logic. one side (B) does NOT go on forever, while the other (D) has to.

so lets look at option 3! B and D are on a line together (if you scratch off the end of the horizontal line for a better view of it), with the end that D is on, going on forever as we needed. option 3 has everything we were looking for!
