Humans never knew that the world where they live is made up of small particles known as atoms and atoms are the building blocks of matter. He was the first who said that all matter was composed of atoms, indivisible and indestructible building blocks and all atoms of an element were identical whereas different elements had atoms of differing size and mass.
His atomic theory is pretty fascinating how we never knew that atoms are the smallest non-living thing and it can for any shape or size in water trees and so much more!
They cant occupy the same box in the periodic table because each atom has a certain number of protons which is the atomic number and no two atoms have the same amount of protons.
