Chimeric mice are generated where approximately 50% of the cells in the animal are genetically MHC class I-deficient.
Firdavs [7]

Chimeric mice are generated where approximately 50% of the cells in the animal are genetically MHC class I-deficient. The other 50% are deficient for the herpes virus receptor, HVEM, but do express MHC class I molecules. When these mice are infected with herpesvirus by intraperitoneal injection, a robust virus-specific CD8 T cell response is detected at day 7 post-infection in the spleens of the infected mice.

Why is dna replication said to be semi-conservative
Neko [114]

During DNA Replication, the DNA molecule unzips itself so that there are two free strands of DNA. Both of those strands then create new complementary strands of DNA. Thus every subsequent generation of DNA uses one of the parent cell's strand of DNA as a template, which is why DNA replication is said to be semi-conservative. Hope this helped!

Sometimes water goes "down the wrong tube" and you start to cough. Which digestive structure has temporarily malfunctioned when
Advocard [28]

Answer:

Epiglottis

Explanation:

The epiglottis is a leaf like structure tat rests above the voice box/larynx and its main function is to seal off the windpipe during eating, so that food is not accidentally inhaled down the wind pipe. When water goes down the wrong pipe, it goes down the windpipe instead of the oesophagus resulting in water going to your lungs which causes the coughing as a protective reflex to clear the windpipe
