Yes. Since this is a proper noun, it should be capitalized. A proper noun names a specific person, place, or thing. Since this is a name of a specific company, it has to be in capital letters. So, this has to be changed into: "J.C.Penny"
Hope it helps :)
Well, depending on your grade level I would say yes. If you’re in 9th or lower, school should definitely be mandatory because in those grade levels your still learning basic health, math, and other categories as well. Another example is, if school were to end and you’re still in 5th grade, not only would you not know much regarding any subject, you wouldn’t be able to provide basic needs for yourself nor for others. Another example on why school is fundamental is because if you wanted to become a neurosurgeon, lawyer, or a real estate agent, this all requires school. You cannot be a surgeon without med school, can’t be a lawyer with law school, and you can’t be a real estate agent without basic training. And if you weren’t even to pass high school, you wouldn’t be able to obtain a high school diploma, and without this you can’t get a basic job at even a fast food restaurant.
Answer: White Fang was entirely unprepared for the fight with Cherokee-- the bulldog was too short and too thick for White Fang to understand. He uses his normal attacks against Cherokee, but nothing seems to work. Scott saves him from this dog, thus saving his life.
Explanation:
The author explicitly says that spirit can be found in the voice of a character.
Explicitly means directly - so it means that the author didn't hide the fact that he knew what could be found in the voice.
Here is what he says:
That is wholly appropriate, for in the breath—the voice—of a character lies its essential spirit.
So the correct answer is definitely spirit.
