The answer to this question is citizen science. The citizen
science is a community based research where in people who conducted the researches
are amateurs or non-professional scientist. Citizen science is also known as
crowd science. This type of research is being supervised by a professional
scientist where an ordinary person will be engaged in doing the scientific
research.
The Dark ages of Greece is considered to be the time period after the Mycenaean civilization had declined, which was around 1200 BC, and before the Archaic period of Greece, which was around 800 BC.
