Hector works as an assistant coach for the Boise Geysers in the U.S. Basketball Association. Recently, he was offered the positi

on of head coaching duties with the Boulder Mountain Goats. Though their offer was very attractive, and it would have been a huge career move for Hector, he declined the offer. He felt it was with Geysers that he had learned and developed as a coach and that staying with the team was the right thing to do. This is an example of _____ commitment.

Answer:

This is an example of normative commitment.

Explanation:

Normative commitment exists when the employee has a sense of right and wrong. Employees who tend to have this specific type of commitment are generally loyal to the entire team and do not plan to leave them just because they found a better opportunity. For example, Hector did not want to leave the Boise Geysers because he felt that he owes a lot to the team as it was Geysers who made him learn and grow as a coach.

Pavlova-9 [17]

Answer:

High on self esteem

High on self efficacy

Explanation:

self-esteem is used to describe a person's overall sense of self-worth or personal value. In other words, how much you appreciate and like yourself while Self-efficacy reflects confidence in the ability to exert control over one's own motivation, behavior, and social environment. The war in Iraq was successful in removing dictator Saddam Hussein from power. Which term would BEST describe how the country wa
Svetradugi [14.3K]
Saddam formally rose to power in 1979, although he had already been the de facto head of Iraq for several years. He suppressed several movements, particularly Shi'a and Kurdish movements, which sought to overthrow the government or gain independence, and maintained power during the Iran–Iraq War and the Gulf War. Whereas some in the Arab world lauded Saddam for opposing the United States and attacking Israel he was widely condemned for the brutality of his dictatorship. The total number of Iraqis killed by the security services of Saddam's government in various purges and genocides is conservatively estimated to be 250,000. Saddam's invasions of Iran and Kuwait also resulted in hundreds of thousands of deaths. He acquired the title "Butcher of Baghdad".

In 2003, a coalition led by the U.S. invaded Iraq to depose Saddam, in which U.S. President George W. Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair falsely accused him of possessing weapons of mass destruction and having ties to al-Qaeda. Saddam's Ba'ath party was disbanded and elections were held. Following his capture on 13 December 2003, the trial of Saddam took place under the Iraqi Interim Government. On 5 November 2006, Saddam was convicted by an Iraqi court of crimes against humanity related to the 1982 killing of 148 Iraqi Shi'a, and sentenced to death by hanging. His execution was carried out on 30 December 2006.
