7. Explain how the equations for photosynthesis and cellular respiration compare.

Biology

Answer: In Photosynthesis, carbon dioxide and water is yielded to glucose and oxygen. In respiration, glucose and oxygen is yielded to carbon dioxide and water. C6H12O6 (glucose) + O2(oxygen) → CO2(Carbon Dioxide) + H2O(water) + ATP energy. The products of one process are the reactants of the other. Notice that the equation for cellular respiration is the direct opposite of photosynthesis: Cellular Respiration: C6H12O6 + 6O2 → 6CO2 + 6H2O. Photosynthesis: 6CO2 + 6H2O → C6H12O6+ 6O.

Why cannot a population keep increasing forever in an ecosystem?
Dmitrij [34]
A population cannot continue to increase forever because each population has a carrying capacity, which is the max number of organisms that can live in an environment with the available resources. At some point, each population will hit their carrying capacity when they run out of resources.

Within the inner membrane of a chloroplast, interconnected sacs of membrane called ________ are suspended in a thick fluid calle
antiseptic1488 [7]

Answer:

Thylakoids, stroma

Explanation:

The interconnected flattened sacs within the inner membrane of the chloroplast are called thylakoid. Many thylakoids are come together and get arranges in a stack called a granum.

Thylakoid contains chlorophyll pigment and is responsible for absorbing the sunlight and conducting light reaction. These thylakoids or grana are suspended in a liquid called the stroma.

The stroma contains the enzymes which are required in the light-dependent reaction. It contains DNA, ribosome, starch. The synthesis of organic molecules occurs in the stroma.
