Lucky for me I just learned this lol
J: 3,6
K: stuck on this one because if you multiply one by 3/2 you get 3/2 so I don’t know
L:6,0

Able to get what I got, you have to multiply 3/2 by the the x and y axis. For example if x is “6” you’ll get 9. And so on.

6 0

Answer:

 • J'(3, 6), K'(1.5, 1.5), L'(6, 0)

Step-by-step explanation:

△ JKL is dilated by 3/2

This transformation will result in the coordinates:

 • (x, y) → (3/2x, 3/2y)

Apply the rule:

 • J(2, 4) → J'(3/2*2 = 3, 3/2*4= 6) = (3, 6)
 • K(1, 1) → K'(3/2*1 = 1.5, 3/2*1 = 1.5) = (1.5, 1.5)
 • L(4, 0) → L'(3/2*4 = 6, 3/2*0 = 0) = (6, 0)

Sales Price after discount = $75 - $15 = $60

Sales Tax = 6% x $60 = 0.06 x 60 = $3.60

Sales Price with Discount after tax = $60 + $3.60 = $63.60

An object is launched from the ground. The object’s height, in feet, can be described by the quadratic function h(t) = 80t – 16t
White raven [17]

Answer:

The object hits the ground 5 seconds after being launched.

Step-by-step explanation:

The height of the object in t seconds after being launched is given by the following equation:

h(t) = 80t - 16t^{2}

When will the object hit the ground after it is launched?

This is t for which h(t) = 0.

So

80t - 16t^{2} = 0

16t(5 - t) = 0

Then

16t = 0

t = 0

This is the launch point

5 - t = 0

t = 5

So

The object hits the ground 5 seconds after being launched.
