Okay so I am very new to circles however I decided to give this one a shot for you. And I feel VERY strongly that it is not C. I believe it is A.
I think this because with circles the equation is
(x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2
The h variable is the x coordinate at the center of your circle. The k variable is the y coordinate.
In this question it is stating that the origin is the center which gives you (0,0). It also states the radius, r=5.
Therefore when you put in all your known values into the equation you get,
(x-0)^2+(y-0)^2=5^2
And just removing the unnecessary zeros and simplifying things you get,
x^2+y^2=5^2

Find the midpoint of the segment with endpoints at A(3, 11) and B(7,3).
bonufazy [111]

Answer:

The answer is

<h2>(5,7)</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

The midpoint M of two endpoints of a line segment can be found by using the formula

M = (  \frac{x1 + x2}{2} , \:  \frac{y1 + y2}{2} )

where

(x1 , y1) and (x2 , y2) are the points

From the question the points are

A(3, 11) and B(7,3)

The midpoint is

M = ( \frac{3 + 7}{2}  \:  , \:  \frac{11 + 3}{2} ) \\  = ( \frac{10}{2}  \: , \:  \frac{14}{2} )

We have the final answer as

<h3>( 5 , 7)</h3>

Hope this helps you

Which two points satisfy y=-x2(^)+2x+4 and x+y=4?
Wewaii [24]
Use subtitution method to solve the problem.

First, change y to the value of x in order to find the exact value of x.
x + y = 4
y = 4 - x

Second, subtitute y with 4 - x from the first equation
y = -x² + 2x + 4
4 - x = -x² + 2x + 4
move all terms to the left side
x² - 2x - x + 4 - 4 = 0
x² - 3x = 0
x(x - 3) = 0
x = 0 or x = 3

Third, now we have 2 values of x. Find the value of y for each of x
For x = 0
y = 4 - x
y = 4 - 0
y = 4

For x = 3
y = 4 - x
y = 4 - 3
y = 1

The solution is (0,4) and (3,1). The answer is option b

A triangle with an area of 202.5 has a height that measures 15 find its base
timama [110]
Area = 1/2 * base * height

202.5 = 1/2 *  base * 15
