The value of a car after t years can be found using the formula V = C(1 - r)t, where V is the current value of the car, C is the
Stells [14]
The given formula is
V = C(1-r)^{t}

Therefore
(1-r)^{t} =  \frac{V}{C} \\\\ 1-r = ( \frac{V}{C} )^{1/t} \\\\ r = 1 - ( \frac{V}{C} )^{1/t}

Given:
C = $25,000
V = $12,000
t = 4.5 years

C/V = 0.48
1/t = 0.2222
Therefore
r = 1 - 0.48^{0.2222} = 0.1505 = 15.05\%

If m∠1 = 105 and m∠4 = 115, then m∠6 =<br><br> 40<br> 50<br> 60<br> 75
ale4655 [162]
< 1 + < 2 = 180...straight lines = 180
< 3 + < 4 = 180...straight lines = 180
< 2 + < 3 + < 6 = 180....interior angles of a triangle = 180

so if < 1 and < 2 = 180, then < 2 = 180 - 105 = 75
and if < 3 and < 4 = 180, then < 3 = 180 - 115 = 65

now...< 2 + < 3 + < 6 = 180
75 + 65 + < 6 = 180
140 + < 6 = 180
< 6 = 180 - 140
< 6 = 40 <===

55 degrees. If you add the other three angles together you get 305. Considering that a circle is 360 degrees, you would subtract those two and get 55.

Help me to answer this question pls
attashe74 [19]

Problem 1

Draw a straight line and plot P anywhere on it. Use the compass to trace out a faint circle of radius 8 cm with center P. This circle crosses the previous line at point Q.

Repeat these steps to set up another circle centered at Q and keep the radius the same. The two circles cross at two locations. Let's mark one of those locations point X. From here, we could connect points X, P, Q to form an equilateral triangle. However, we only want the 60 degree angle from it.

With P as the center, draw another circle with radius 7.5 cm. This circle will cross the ray PX at location R.

Refer to the diagram below.

Problem 2

I'm not sure why your teacher wants you to use a compass and straightedge to construct an 80 degree angle. Such a task is not possible. The proof is lengthy but look up the term "constructible angles" and you'll find that only angles of the form 3n are possible to make with compass/straight edge.

In other words, you can only do multiples of 3. Unfortunately 80 is not a multiple of 3. I used GeoGebra to create the image below, as well as problem 1.

Compare the decimals 16.30 and 16.3
pshichka [43]
16.30 and 16.3 equal. If you ever have a problem like that then you just add on a zero.

Example:
19.4500 = 19.45 Just add two zeros on the end
19.45 + two zeros = 1.4500
