Yes. It's approximately the same, but not exactly.

The weight of an object 7 miles above the Earth's surface (the gravitational force on it) is about 0.35% less than it is down on the surface.

→The value of Earth gravitational pull that is acceleration due to gravity on the surface of earth is 9.8 m/s.

→The value of earth gravitational pull , 7 miles above earth is not exactly same , as distance of an object  from earth surface increases, the value of gravitational pull that is acceleration due to gravity decreases.

→→→This can be explained by the Principle of inverse Square Law,which states that ,force between two objects is directly proportional to product of their masses and inversely proportional to square of distance between them.As, Gravitation pull between an object on the plane and an object 7 miles above the earth surface decreases by a value of \frac{1}{49}. as Distance between two objects = 7 miles

         F=\frac{G*m_{1}*m_{2}}{r^2}\\\\ m_{1}*g=\frac{G*m_{1}*m_{2}}{r^2}\\\\g=\frac{G*m_{2}}{r^2}

A soccer player kicks a 0.44 kg ball with a force of 57.6 N, what is the ball’s acceleration
noname [10]

THE BALL'S ACCELERATION IS 130.90\frac{m}{s}

Explanation:

According to Newton's second law "the force (F) acting on an object is equal to the mass (m) of an object times its acceleration (a)", meaning that when the soccer player kicks a ball, a force is acting on the ball, therefore increasing it's acceleration

SO FOR CALCULATING THIS WE WILL USE NEWTON LAW,

   FORCE = MASS × ACCELERATION

WE ARE GIVEN

FORCE = 57.6N

MASS= .44KG

SO HERE WE APPLYING FORMULA ,WE WILL GET

ACCELERATION = \frac{FORCE}{MASS}

ACCELERATION = \frac{57.6N}{.44KG}

ACCELERATION =130.90\frac{m}{s}

Why do we feel the force of gravity from the Earth but we don’t feel the force of gravity from the moon?
Zigmanuir [339]

Answer:

The gravitational force on the moon is less than on Earth because the strength of gravity is determined by an object's mass. The bigger the object, the bigger the gravitational force. Gravity is pretty much everywhere. We just feel it in different ways depending on our state of motion.

Explanation:

Hope this helped!!
