btw my name is not Google, but I'll post anyhow.

if all three friends only have 5lbs of flour only and therefore only 19 cups of flour, well, each batch takes up 2 cups of flour and they only have 19 cups, 19/2 gives us 9 with a remainder of 1.

so 9 whole batches.

A Copy of machine produces 80 copies in 5 minutes. How many copies would be produced in 40 minutes?
BlackZzzverrR [31]
The answer would be 640. To find the number of how many copies are produced in 1 minute you have to write 80 divided by 5 which equals 16. Now you multiply 16 and the 40 minutes which gives you 640 copies.

Matt has 11 white buttons. He has 9 fewer brown buttons than white buttons. Matt has 17 more grey buttons than brown buttons. Ho
In-s [12.5K]

Answer: 32 buttons

Step-by-step explanation:

Matt has 11 white buttons.

Matt has 9 fewer brown buttons than white buttons. This means he has (11 -9) = 2 brown buttons

Matt has 17 more grey buttons than brown buttons. This means that he has (2 + 17) = 19 grey buttons.

The total number of buttons that Matt has will be;

= 11 white + 2 brown + 19 grey

= 32 buttons

Avery is in the business of manufacturing phones. She must pay a daily fixed cost to
tangare [24]

Answer:

The equation that represents the total cost in dollars is C = 100p + 300

Step-by-step explanation:

The form of the linear equation is y = m x + b, where

  • m is the slope ⇒ rate of change
  • b is the y-intercept ⇒ fixed amount

∵ Avery must pay a daily fixed cost to  rent the building and equipment

∴ There is a fixed amount b

∵ She pays a cost per phone produced for  materials and labor

∴ There is a rate m

∵ C represents the total cost of producing p phones in dollars

→ Form the linear equation for the situation

∴ The equation is C = m p + b

∵ The labor and materials cost $100 for each phone

∴ m = 100

→ Substitute it in the equation above

∴ C = 100p + b

∵ The cost of producing 3 phones in a day would be $600

∴ p = 3 and C = 600

→ Substitute them in the equation above to find b

∵ 600 = 100(3) + b

∴ 600 = 300 + b

→ Subtract 300 from both sides to find b

∵ 600 - 300 = 300 - 300 + b

∴ 300 = b

→ Substitute it in the equation

∴ C = 100p + 300

∴ The equation that represents the total cost in dollars is C = 100p + 300
