Answer:

Yes

Explanation:

Over the last 20 years, GMOs have reduced pesticide applications by 8.2% and helped increase crop yields by 22%. Avoiding plastic straws may be one way that people are trying to help, but allowing farmers to plant GMO crops to help preserve soil, conserve water, and reduce carbon emissions is another way.

Are GMOs beneficial to the environment?

GMOs have benefits for the environment. Over the last couple of years, people found that GMOs have increase crop yields by 22% and reduce pesticide applications by over 8%. Allowing farmers to plant GMO crops will help use fewer environmental sources. Food will be more nutritive and GMOs will reduce the amount of water and fertilizer used for drought-resistant plants.

jarptica [38.1K]
Here is the full excerpt for this question,
She dwells with Beauty--Beauty that must die; And Joy, whose hand is ever at his lips Bidding adieu; and aching Pleasure nigh, Turning to poison while the bee-mouth sips: Ay, in the very temple of Delight Veil'd Melancholy has her sovran shrine, Though seen of none save him whose strenuous tongue Can burst Joy's grape against his palate fine; His soul shall taste the sadness of her might, And be among her cloudy trophies hung.

the type of figurative language used in this excerpt is: Personification

Personafication is a form of figurative language that gives human attribute into a non-living object. From the excerpt, we can see it on: His soul shall taste the sadness of her might, (Soul is a non-living object that couldn't taste anything)
