Attila the Hun was a ruler of the Hunnic Empire. The Romans feared him greatly until his death since he made quite a habit of in

vading. The Romans no longer feared him after his death in 453. Let x represent any year. Write an inequality in terms of x and 453 that is true only for values of x that represent years after the year that Attila died.

The inequality would be x > 453 because any year after he died would be more than the year he died.
Also, if it helps, I think of inequalities as an alligator's mouth, trying to eat the bigger quantity.
Hope this helps!

What the same as 1.4
liubo4ka [24]

Answer:

\frac{7}{5}

Step-by-step explanation:

You can make 1.4 as a fraction, and it will be the same but in a different form.

So, to make a decimal by a fraction, you make 1.4 into a whole number. 1.4 will be 14.

Now, the denominator will be 10.

So, when you simplify \frac{14}{10}, which is \frac{7}{5}

What is the equation of the following line? Be sure to scroll down first to see
likoan [24]

\bf (\stackrel{x_1}{-3}~,~\stackrel{y_1}{1})\qquad (\stackrel{x_2}{0}~,~\stackrel{y_2}{0}) ~\hfill \stackrel{slope}{m}\implies \cfrac{\stackrel{rise} {\stackrel{y_2}{0}-\stackrel{y1}{1}}}{\underset{run} {\underset{x_2}{0}-\underset{x_1}{(-3)}}}\implies \cfrac{-1}{0+3}\implies -\cfrac{1}{3}

\bf \begin{array}{|c|ll} \cline{1-1} \textit{point-slope form}\\ \cline{1-1} \\ y-y_1=m(x-x_1) \\\\ \cline{1-1} \end{array}\implies y-\stackrel{y_1}{1}=\stackrel{m}{-\cfrac{1}{3}}[x-\stackrel{x_1}{(-3)}]\implies y-1=-\cfrac{1}{3}(x+3) \\\\\\ y-1=-\cfrac{1}{3}x-1\implies y=-\cfrac{1}{3}x
