According to henry grady what would characterize the new south
kaheart [24]
Henry Grady is the managing editor of Atlanta Constitution; leading advocate of a "New South;" he also promoted industrial development with Atlanta as its center of growth. The original use of the term "New South" was an endeavor to label the growth of a South after the Civil War which would no longer be reliant on now-outlawed slave labor or primarily upon the raising of cotton, but rather a South which was also industrialized and part of a modern national economy. In other words, Henry Grady envisioned a south that would have a mixed economy as well as be industrialized rather than one based around single-crop plantations.

Which statement best summarizes the culture of the Eastern Woodland people?
Bumek [7]

The correct answer is C) Men and women of the Eastern Woodland tribes each had specific roles.

The statement that best summarizes the culture of the Eastern Woodland people is the following: "Men and women of the Eastern Woodland tribes each had specific roles."

This is so true because the Eastern Woodland people lived in villages and depended so much on farming and hunting. That is why the division of activities was very important to efficient labor and the collection of food. It was not an easy task to collect food. Indians had to work hard to feed their families. For instance, Eastern Woodland women grew corn and other crops while men went hunting animals and wage war.
