The Nuremberg Laws can be seen a a step toward the Holocaust because they what?
Vilka [71]

The Nuremberg Laws can be seen as a step towards the Holocaust because they legalised the discrimination against Jews.

The Nuremberg Laws

In 1935, two laws namely Reich Citizenship Law and the Law for the Protection of German Blood and German Honor was passed in Nuremberg, Germany. Hence these laws were known as Nuremberg laws.

By these laws, the Discrimination towards jews legalized and institutionalized. For example the Law suggest that Germany is for only Germans who had four Christian grandparents, The Law denied Jews being citizens of Germany.

Hence, when discrimination is institutionalized by the state, it turns out to be fatal for minorities. Thus, we see Holocaust after the Nuremberg Laws.
