Summer of the mariposas chapter 14 summary
Nikitich [7]

Answer and Explanation:

In chapter 14 of "Summer of the moths" the girls wake up due to the sound of goats listening from outside their room. Curious, they get up to look at where that sound came from and it is at that moment that they see a lot of goats. The shepherd quickly introduces himself and seems very kind and friendly, although one of the girls, Odilia, has uncomfortable and sorry feelings around him, which bodes well for bad times that he will provide the girls.

The goatherd's name is Chencho and because he is very kind he offered to accompany the girls to Hacienda Dorada. Odilia rejects the invitation, but the other girls are positive about him and end up accepting him to go along.

During the journey Chencho tells scary and horrible stories about a monster, he seems to know this sinister type of creature well. And he really does, since at night he turns into a chupacabraand and attacks Pita. The other girls are desperate trying to save Pita and save themselves, when they attack the chupacabraand and hurt his eyes, leaving him blind.

vovangra [49]
The answer for this statement would be TRUE. An independent clause can also be a sentence itself, in fact, an independent clause is also classified as a simple sentence because it has both the subject and the predicate, and also, it conveys a complete idea or thought. Independent clause can also stand alone.
