the hours go like  this
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12=AM
then after 12AM then
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,2=PM

60 minutes in 1 hour so
11:30=11 hours and 30 mins
how far to 12 AM?
12 AM=12 hours=11 hours and 60 minutes
11 hours and 60 minutes-(11 hours and 30 mins)=30 minutes

then from 12 AM to 1 PM=1 hour so
time total difference is 1 hour and 30 minutes
