What is the rate and unit rate of $7.96 to 5 pounds
Mekhanik [1.2K]
To find a unit rate, you should set the original unit to 1 and account for the other value appropriately. In this case, you would divide both sides by 5, which reveals that at a rate of $7.96 for 5 pounds, it is $1.59 per pound.

Answer:

A, B, C, D, E

Step-by-step explanation:

AB ≅ AC and AD bisects ∠A

This is given information from the diagram and the statement.

∠BAD ≅ ∠CAD

This is from the definition of angle bisector.

AD ≅ AD

This is reflective property of congruence.

ΔABD ≅ ΔACD

From the previous three statements, side-angle-side congruence tells us the triangles are congruent.

∠B ≅ ∠C

Corresponding parts of congruent triangles are congruent.

Lina20 [59]

first subtract the last equation from the first. this gives:-

-x + y = -8 .....................(1)

Then multiply the first equation by 2 and add it to the 2nd equations This gives

9x = 18

so x = 2

and from equation  (1)  y = -8 + 2 = -6

Substituting for x and y in the second equation

z =  (24 -5(2) -12) / 2 =   1
