Answer:

After Iraq invaded Kuwait, the United States and the UN Security Council demanded that Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein withdraw Iraqi troops from Kuwait, but Hussein refused.

Explanation:

In August 1990, Iraq invaded the country of Kuwait to its southeast in a bid to gain more control over the lucrative oil supply of the Middle East. In response, the United States and the UN Security Council demanded that Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein withdraw Iraqi troops from Kuwait, but Hussein refused. This led to a massive U.S.-led air offensive known as Operation Desert Storm.

EVERYBODY I NEED YOUR HELP!!! Plz help me compare the U.S. to the Golden Age of Islam! Plz help me! This is super important! E
xxMikexx [17]
Reasons I honestly know of:

- Christianity which I think is the most prevalent religion in America both are in it's golden stages. America is one of the world's powers , which may be what the religion Islam used to be.

- The USA is also influencing the world worldwide with Christianity creating a golden age for the religion ( sounds like the Golden Age of Islam).

In simple words I see the comparison as being both were influential in religion, beliefs, and their books ( The U.S often mentions the Bible while Islam the Quran.)

Explain why King Philip II viewed Protestants as heretics and why that view may have met with conflict ?
WINSTONCH [101]
For Philip II, he believes that what was good for Spain would also be good for the Catholic Church. He was so devoted to the Church that whoever is against the Church we would want to persecute them. Philip II himself ordered the Spanish bishops at the Council of Trent to insist on no accommodation of Protestants.
