We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, to ordain and establish this constitution to the United States of America.

Many of the amendments to relate to the basic rights in the constitution. For example, amendment 2 helps to provide for the common defense. Amendments 5,6,7 and 8 all help establish justice. The first amendment also balances everything, giving people rights that do establish justice. It secures the blessings of liberty.
